What makes your approach to Amazon ads different from other consultants? My approach differs from other Amazon ads consultants in several key ways: 1. Insider Knowledge, Not Secondhand Information I spent a decade at Amazon working directly on their ads platform. I joined when Amazon Ads was still in its infancy, and in 2015, senior leadership specifically selected me to help build the book ads team due to my background in publishing. As Head of Marketing, Account Management, and Operations—and later as a Product Manager—I worked alongside the engineers and marketers who built the very system you're trying to navigate. This isn't secondhand knowledge. I've analyzed the data, helped implement features authors requested, and had countless conversations with authors about their challenges. Other "experts" can only tell you what worked for a few authors or what tactics seemed successful for already-established names. I can tell you why things work, with authority that comes from being in the room where decisions were made. 2. Strategy First, Not Quick Fixes I focus on sustainable strategy first, not quick wins or tactics that burn through your budget I understand the entire Amazon ecosystem and how ads fit within it—context that's essential for long-term success I won't sugarcoat reality: sometimes ads won't be immediately profitable, and that's okay if it aligns with your broader strategy 3. Education Over Dependency I'm not building an ads empire or trying to keep you financially dependent on my services—my goal is to teach you to fish for yourself. My mission is for authors to eventually spend less time managing ads and more time creating the books readers love. 4. Honest, Authoritative Communication I communicate honestly about what I know, what I've observed, and what's simply my best hypothesis. I won't use cute made-up terminology, push gimmicks, or present personal observations as universal facts.

How do I add a user to my advertiser account? If you're looking to add someone to your ads account you will need to "invite" the user. Once you're logged into your ads account, this link should get you to the page where you can manage access. If you're having us review your account, please grant Editor access, and send the invite to info@bookgeeksmedia.com. Once you've done this, it's best practice to change the name on your account. As a default, Amazon applies a generic account name such as KDP-Author. Please change this to something that helps us recognize as your account.
